About the Local Growth Hub

The Local Growth Hub is a place for businesses across the Liverpool City Region to find the right advice and support that can help them grow.

OVERVIEW

The Local Growth Hub, which is backed by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and in collaboration with local public and private sector partners, was set up to provide a joined-up approach to business support for entrepreneurs, SMEs and Scale-up companies.

Managed by Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and delivered through a network of regional brokers, each offers face-to-face business diagnostic, brokerage, advice and mentoring, making access to specific support simpler, by unlocking barriers to specialist commercial advisors, commercial funding or funded support programme opportunities.

In 2017, over 6,000 businesses in the Liverpool City Region have benefited from practical business support through the Local Growth Hub.
