Putul’s Kitchen

Delicious food for Indian restaurants, bistros and cafés

Putul’s Kitchen

Putul’s Kitchen is run by Shoma and Mark Doran, who are both directors. The business operates at their home address in Hoylake, Wirral.

Shoma and Mark started trading as Putul’s Kitchen in January 2017 and make chicken and vegetarian cutlets coated in traditional Indian spices to a unique family recipe. The target market for the business is local Indian restaurants, delicatessens, bistros, cafés, fast food outlets and any other catering businesses.

In order to develop their business, Shoma and Mark accessed support through the Business Growth Programme. The programme is designed to build confidence and capacity in local SMEs by providing direct advice, guidance and information to provide a clear route to growth and sustainability. Support offered covers areas like business development, financial planning, human resources, international trade, operational review and sales and marketing.

The programme has helped Putul’s Kitchen with business planning and will provide the management tool required to keep the business on track and help support further business research. The company also now has a better understanding of financial forecasts and have gained confidence in marketing and research.

Overall, the support has provided valuable information regarding the business support landscape in the Liverpool City Region and has given them a much stronger platform to grow the business and take on new employees in the future.

You can find out more about the Business Growth Programme on the Local Growth Hub website.
