Rural Development Programme for England: Food Processing
We are inviting grant applications for a minimum of £35k and a maximum of £340k to help fund capital expenditure in the food processing industry.
Expressions of Interest are invited from food processing businesses in the Liverpool City Region until 31 May 2018, or until the funding has been allocated to eligible projects.
The Rural Payments Agency manages the grant scheme and has published a handbook specifically for the Food Processing Call. The handbook and Expression of Interest form can be found here. The Liverpool City Region Priorities are on page 49 of the Handbook.
Priority will be given to projects that:
- Bring new products to the market; process locally sourced raw materials; support producers specialising in high quality produce, particularly local and dairy; sell into new markets including exports; increase productivity, particularly through capital investments in: new technology and techniques; innovation and more efficient production processes
