Complete survey to support Maritime Knowledge Hub 2 (MKH2)

Published on Business stage: Scaling, Starting, Thinking, Unlocking

The proposed new Maritime Knowledge Hub 2 (MKH2) is an exciting opportunity to grow the maritime cluster in the Liverpool City Region as it responds to the so-called “Grand Challenges” of Artificial Intelligence and data, an Ageing society, Clean growth and the Future of mobility. The £20m+ project will see the redevelopment of the former Hydraulic Tower in the Wirral Waters Enterprise Zone into c60,000 sq ft of modern, high quality innovation space split into: university research/teaching activity; commercial innovation space; and an accelerator designed to drive new business formation and innovation across the maritime sector.

The MKH2 could help digital and creative businesses break into the maritime sector through an accelerator programme which would offer access to market, as well as other benefits from intensive mentoring, network support, etc. Demonstrating strong private sector buy-in, commitment and support for the MKH2 proposition will be crucial in underpinning a robust and competitive funding bid in the New Year. We recognise that you are busy and greatly appreciate your willingness to support this important study process. This e-survey will take around 10 minutes to complete and all responses will be treated as confidential.

The e-survey can be completed here. We would be very grateful if you could complete your response by the close of 10th December. Many thanks in advance for your assistance and support.
