Enterprise hub to support start-up businesses across Liverpool City Region

Enterprise Hub offers a central point of contact for residents of Liverpool City Region who are looking for expert advice to start a new business. The Enterprise Hub is supported by £4.6m of European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) investment to help create and sustain over 1200 new enterprises in the Liverpool City Region (LCR) and to provide detailed prestart assistance to over 6000 potential-entrepreneurs. It is led by the City of Liverpool College as part of the Liverpool City Region Growth Hub and will provide a ‘no wrong door’ access point for all residents of LCR who are seeking support to start and sustain their own businesses. The Hub is made up of a consortium of experienced delivery partners offering a transformational approach to encourage and support entrepreneurship and business creation in the Liverpool City Region.

Through a combination of one to one advice and enterprise training Enterprise Hub will offer FREE support to:

  • Understand the process of starting a business
  • Complete a business plan
  • Research a business idea
  • Create a marketing plan
  • Develop financial forecasts
  • Raise finance

Enterprise Hub is open to:

  • Men or women aged 16+
  • Living in the Liverpool City Region (Liverpool, Sefton, Wirral, St Helens, Knowsley or Halton)
  • Wanting support to start a new business
  • Not yet registered as self-employed
