Time is running out to access PhD programmes through The Low Carbon Eco-Innovatory

The Low Carbon Eco-Innovatory has a small number of funded 3-year PhD and 1-year Masters still available. 

If you have are considering developing an existing or new product, process or service require an long-term research intensive programme, but lack the resource, expertise or facilities to exploit your ideas then LCEI may be able to assist. The University of Liverpool has funding for R&D projects that will fund a dedicated graduate researcher to work on your project.

Any project that has the potential to contribute to a reduction in GHG emissions can be considered, such as streamlining manufacturing, developing more efficient products, reducing energy consumption etc.  SMEs from any sector within Liverpool City Region including Halton and Daresbury are eligible.  Current and previous projects cover a diverse range of subjects and sectors.

If your idea is smaller scale LCEI also has a range of free projects giving access to facilities, resource and expertise such as dedicated post-doctoral researchers and academic monitoring, experimentation, low carbon roadmapping, and financing, plus 1-month internships and 6-month dissertation projects.

Long-term projects require a £6k annual contribution toward the cost of a full-time graduate researcher, all other assistance is free of charge.
