Industry and Student matching event

The LCR 4.0 team at Sensor City are running an event on Wednesday 7th March (2-4pm) at Sensor City, providing the opportunity for companies to interact directly with academics and students from the University of Liverpool, predominantly within the engineering and computer science fields.

The aim of the event is to provide an environment in which companies can network informally with students to determine if they can provide any solutions to their business knowledge or resource gaps, whilst providing the opportunity for students to potentially find placements within industry.

Both undergraduate and Masters students will be attending, who have expertise including: Software engineering and planning, coding, communications networks and security, database development, electromagnetism and electromechanics and integrated circuits.

Additionally, as the University of Liverpool is one of Santander’s partner universities, UK registered SMEs have access to Santander contributions of up to £1,500 per intern (capped at 5 internships per year) towards a placement ranging from 1-10 weeks. We are hoping to be able to provide more detailed advice on this funding opportunity at the event.

If you are interested and available to attend, please confirm your place here.
