Join the Immersive Economy Mapping study todayPublished on
Immerse UK, supported by Invest Liverpool, would like to invite you to participate in the Immersive Economy Mapping study, the first ever UK project mapping the Immersive Economy ecosystem.
The UK is one of the global leaders in the Immersive Economy – including VR, AR and wearable and haptic technologies, content and services. Ensuring that the sector continues to expand requires the right policies informed by the best data.
With that in mind, Immerse UK is running this survey (administered by research company MTM). The results will help policymakers, investors and businesses make better decisions, driving our industry’s success.
We would like to invite you to be part of this important study by telling us about your company. We very much want to hear the opinions of ALL organisations, big or small. In return we are offering a summary of the findings, emailed directly to you.
Cathy Skelly, Investment Manager for Creative and Digital sector added: “The global immersive virtual reality market is expected to reach USD 1.88 billion by 2020 and the UK is said to be leading in many areas of the immersive economy. Liverpool City Region has a strong eco-system of complimentary institutions and organisations working together across a range of sectors. This coupled with a strong immersive tech business profile means that there’s huge potential for our region to set itself apart as a unique place to be for R&D and businesses working with these technologies.”
“In order for us to get the infrastructure right, we need input; who’s doing what and what’s needed to support further growth and innovation. This industry is expected to witness profound growth over the next five years, and I hope Liverpool City Region will have its part to play in that – so I would urge as many people as possible, across the region, to join the conversation by taking part in this important study.”
