Liverpool launches £1million ‘Big Data’ training centre

The University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University have been awarded £1 million for a new Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in data intensive science. The award is part of £10-million investment from the Science and Technology Facilities Council to support eight new data intensive science CDTs across the UK.
