Liverpool Loves Business reveals full programme and unveils MSB as headline sponsor

Free-to-attend event will be held at the city centre Hilton Hotel Thursday, July 13 and will feature, stands, networking and talks and discussions led by business experts. 

The event returns for a third consecutive year. It’s back bigger and better, and with a new city centre location for 2017.

Liverpool Loves Business 2017 will be held at Hilton Liverpool and takes place on Thursday 13 July between 9am and 4pm. The event is free to attend.

Organisers Orb CIC are delighted to announce that Liverpool Loves Business 2017 will be sponsored by MSB Solicitors.

Dealing With The Art Of Sales is the theme for 2017. The focus is aims to assist and support delegates to rediscover their cutting edge, skills, and empower them in all areas of generating business.

Leading Liverpool law firm MSB Solicitors will be the headline sponsor of the 2017 conference. The firm, which this week unveiled record financial results - generating revenues of more than £5m for the first time in its history, has supported the event since its inception in 2015.

MSB Solicitors are revealed as a sponsor in the same week that Orb CIC can announce the full festival programme which includes business big names like whizz-kids Google Digital Garage; as well as speaker stages and break-out areas where delegates can access valuable business advice, build connections with other like-minded colleagues, and listen to talks from industry leaders.

The appropriately named Go Get ’Em Stage will host sessions themed around selling your business in the digital age.

The Sales Dojo, sponsored by Your Business Mobile, will see sales and business development experts hold a series of quick-fire sessions on topics including refining sales technique, strengthening networks, and developing interpersonal skills.

The festival will also feature a commercial marketplace exhibitors’ area, which will provide a shop window for essential business services for start-ups and growth-phase companies.

Exhibitors will include Merseyside Special Investment Fund (MSIF)’s Finance Hub with support for SMEs on how to gain access to vital funding; while business support service Liverpool City Region Local Growth Hub will be offering SMEs advice on how to link into quality professional services​ and growth funding/subsidies.

Ten Hub will be hosting The Boardroom, where professionals will be based with break-out areas to offer one-to-one business advice sessions. Industry experts include Linda Lavery, Director at The HR Dept; Joe Mulrooney, Director and Solicitor at MediateLegal; Elaine Courtney, Managing Partner at Courtney Recruitment; Andrew Keates, Managing Director at Andrew Keates & Associates Accountants; and Leon McCowan, Director of Your Business Mobile and founder of The Sales Dojo.

Last year’s Liverpool Loves Business attracted more than 600 entrepreneurs and professionals from across Liverpool City Region.

In previous years, Liverpool Loves Business has taken place as part of the wider Liverpool Loves three-day event. For the first time, the event has been brought forward in the calendar.

Liverpool Loves will also return on Saturday 5 August and Sunday 6 August. The city region’s best loved, feel good festival is also back for a third consecutive year and has a new home taking place across two main sites – Liverpool ONE and Derby Square.

Liverpool Loves is a celebration of all things Liverpool – with four core themes of business, culture, food and well-being.

The festival has continued to go from strength to strength since its inaugural year in 2015 with an attendance of 27,000 visitors over three days. An audience of 40,000 attended the second event in 2016, and Orb CIC is now on a mission to continue to build its impact on the region.
