The affordability, availability and accessibility of transport

The affordability, availability and accessibility of transport can be a barrier to accessing employment and training opportunities.

Merseytravel is conducting an online survey as part of research into how apprentices use public transport. The survey aims to find out how they use buses, trains and other forms of transport to travel to their employer or training provider. It looks at issues such as cost, frequency, punctuality and ease of connecting services. Results gathered will go towards an improving service for apprentices.

Liverpool City Region Apprenticeships Hub welcome this review of apprentices’ travel habits and needs. We are encouraging all local apprentices to complete the survey. We also ask Apprenticeship learning providers to raise awareness of the survey amongst their students.

The survey takes approximately 5 minutes to complete and all information provided remains confidential.

Closing date 15th August 2017.

You can take part in the survey here.
